Browns welcome six Bill Walsh Fellowship interns to the coaching staff

Over the next three weeks of OTAs, the Browns will host two coaches per week

The Browns welcomed six additional coaches to their coaching staff who will participate in the Browns' Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, spanning through the remainder of the offseason program.

The purpose of the fellowship is to provide coaches with the opportunity to observe, participate and eventually land full-time positions in the NFL. Applicants for the fellowship must either have NFL experience or coaching experience at the high school, college or other league level.

The Browns began organized team activities (OTAs) on May 21, and hosted two interns during the first week. They will welcome two fellows during each week of organized team activities.

Below is a list of the six coaches who are participating in the Bill Walsh Fellowship.

Eboni Chambers – Chambers is the offensive line coach and recruiter at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College. Chambers first started as an offensive line coach in 2022.

Kyle Barnes – Barnes is a senior defensive analyst for James Madison. Barnes previously served as the cornerbacks coach at the College of Holy Cross from 2022-23, the nickels coach at Sacred Heart University from 2020-22 and the cornerbacks coach at Assumption College from 2019-20.

Two more fellows will join the Browns for the second week of OTAs from May 28-30.

Nick Coleman – Coleman is a graduate assistant serving as a defensive analyst for LSU.

Demetrius Sumler – Sumler is the cornerbacks coach at San Diego State. Sumler is entering his seventh year coaching the cornerbacks and ninth year overall on the San Diego State coaching staff. He spent his first two seasons as a graduate assistant before he was elevated to a full-time assistant in 2018.

The final two fellows will join the Browns for the third week of OTAs from June 4-6.

Dele Harding – Harding is the defensive assistant at Rice University.

Elizabeth (Edie) Worthington – Worthington is an assistant for Air Force Football. Worthington was a member of the United States Air Force Academy Class of 2022. In 2022, Worthington was also selected as the first woman graduate assistant to serve on the coaching staff of Air Force Football.
