The Browns went into halftime with a 16-10 lead but failed to build upon it in the second half, giving the Ravens a chance to steal the game.
Baltimore scored 13 points in the second half and won the game 23-16 on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field. The Browns dropped the season series to Baltimore with the loss.
Cleveland didn't score for the entirety of the second half while Ravens TE Mark Andrews scored on a go-ahead 35-yard run with 2:31 left in the game. QB Shedeur Sanders, filling in for an injured Dillon Gabriel, led the Browns down the field to as close as their 25-yard line but the drive fell short as Cleveland turned the ball over on downs.
Gabriel passed for 68 yards, completing 70 percent of his passes. Gabriel did not return for the second half because of a concussion, paving the way for Sanders to make his NFL debut. Sanders finished the game with 47 yards on 4-of-16 passing and an interception. Sanders scrambled for 16 yards on three attempts. RB Quinshon Judkins had 17 carries for 59 rushing yards and RB Dylan Sampson added 19 rushing yards. WR Cedric Tillman had 52 yards with three catches, leading Cleveland in receiving yards.
DE Myles Garrett had four sacks in the game, giving him 11 in the last four games. LB Devin Bush had a 23-yard pick-six in the second quarter to put the Browns up 13-3. LB Carson Schwesinger notched his second interception in three games in the third quarter, forcing Jackson's second interception in the game.
Schwesinger added 10 tackles in the game, adding to his team lead in the stat while S Ronnie Hickman had nine tackles. DT Mike Hall Jr. added his first sack of the season in the fourth quarter.

P Corey Bojorquez's punt sailed out of bounds at the Cleveland 44-yard line with 4:40 left in the fourth quarter and the Browns and Ravens tied at 16. DT Maliek Collins tackled RB Derrick Henry in the backfield for a loss of two on first down but a 11-yard pass from Lamar Jackson to WR DeAndre Hopkins made it third-and-1. Henry was stuffed on the next play setting up fourth down and a chance for the Browns to control their destiny.
Andrews lined up behind center on the fourth down play, rolled to his right and hit a gap for a 35-yard touchdown run. The Ravens went up 23-16 with the extra point with 2:31 left in the game.
Cleveland took a touchback on the ensuing kickoff, starting its potential game-tying drive at the 35-yard line. Sanders threw a 25-yard pass to TE Harold Fannin Jr. on the first play of the drive, getting to the Baltimore 40-yard line. Sanders threw two consecutive incompletions, setting up third-and-10. He threw a short pass to WR Jerry Jeudy, who juked and powered his way for a first down. Sanders scrambled for 5 yards to get Cleveland to the Baltimore 25-yard line, leaving 1:16 on the clock. Sanders and fellow rookie WR Isaiah Bond failed to connect on second down. On third down, he lofted a pass into the end zone for WR Gage Larvadain but the coverage from Ravens CB Chidobe Awuzie caused him to bobble the ball and drop it. Sanders tried to maneuver around the pocket and keep the game alive on fourth down. He found TE David Njoku but Ravens LB Roquan Smith broke up the pass and Baltimore knelt out the clock.
Baltimore and Cleveland throw interceptions on back-to-back plays
On Sanders' second drive of the game, Sanders looked for Jeudy on third down but pressure from Baltimore altered the pass and Ravens CB Nate Wiggins intercepted the ball. He returned the interception 14 yards to the Browns 16-yard line, setting up Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and Baltimore's offense in the red zone.
Jackson stepped back to pass on first down and fired a pass to Ravens TE Charlie Kolar. The pass bounced off Ravens T Roger Rosengarten's helmet and high in the air. The tipped pass created a jump ball for multiple Browns defenders and Kolar. Schwesinger snatched the ball out of the air and ran 9 yards to the Cleveland 23-yard line, getting his second interception of the season.
Devin Bush takes a tipped pass to the house
As the Ravens started their drive at their own 29-yard line, they had a chance to take the lead, trailing 6-3 with 8:38 left in the second quarter. Garrett invaded the pocket on first down, sacking Jackson for a loss of 9 yards.
On second down, the Browns' defense again began to get into the backfield. Jackson threw a checkdown pass to RB Keaton Mitchell before he could get taken down again. The pass bounced off Mitchell's hands, and Bush ran to get under the ball, caught it and took off.
Bush ran to the left sideline before cutting back inside and breaking three tackles to get into the end zone for a 23-yard pick-six. The score and subsequent extra point extended Cleveland's lead to 13-3. Bush's interception return was the second defensive touchdown of his career and his first since his rookie season in 2019.
