The Browns continue to rebuild their offensive line, as they have agreed to terms with G Zion Johnson.

Johnson was first drafted by the Chargers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft as the 17th overall pick. In 2022, Johnson was also selected to the PFWA All-Rookie team. He spent his first four seasons in Los Angeles, starting 65 of 66 career games. He missed just two games over his time with the Chargers, demonstrating his durability and dependability at the position.

He started at both left and right guard during his time with the Chargers – but spent a large portion of the last three seasons at left guard – bringing position flexibility on the inside of the offensive line if needed.

Johnson adds a key piece to the offensive line for the Browns. With the beginning of free agency, Cleveland had six offensive linemen hit the market. Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Andrew Berry said the offense – and in particular the offensive line – would see turnover during the offseason.

Since that turnover, the Browns have addressed the offensive line early in free agency with the acquisition of T Tytus Howard in a trade with the Texans and the addition of veteran C/G Elgton Jenkins.

The Browns agreed to terms with G Zion Johnson, who started 65 of 66 career games with the Chargers. He was first drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft and spent four years with the Chargers.
