Browns announce players likely out for preseason opener

The Browns are expected to have two of their top players on the sidelines for tonight's preseason opener against the Washington Redskins.

Cornerback Joe Haden and left tackle Joe Thomas are among the 18 Browns not expected to play. Haden is dealing with a hamstring injury while Thomas will be held out because of a coach's decision.

Rookie Cameron Erving is expected to start in Thomas' place at left tackle while Justin Gilbert will fill in for Haden.

Here's the full list. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium.
