Browns injury updates, other notes - August 22

After viewing today's practice, 120 Northeast Ohio moms joined the Cleveland Browns Moms Clinic, emceed by CBS and TNT sports reporter and Ohio native Allie LaForce. Participants learned about CDC-approved concussion recognition and response protocols; proper equipment fitting; Heads Up tackling; Heads Up blocking; heat emergency preparedness and hydration; and sudden cardiac arrest, and heard directly from medical experts. The program also allows participants an opportunity to interact with other moms from around the sport. They also engaged in a hands-on Heads Up tackling session, led by St. Ignatius Head Football Coach Chuck Kyle, USA Heads Up Football Master Trainer.
