Browns sign DL Jamie Meder

The Cleveland Browns have signed DL Jamie Meder. He was an exclusive rights free agent.

Meder has appeared in 33 games with 15 starts since joining the Browns in 2014. He saw action in all 16 games with 15 starts last year and totaled 48 tackles, one sack and one pass defensed.

Meder was named AFC Special Teams Player of Week for Week 16 after he blocked a Chargers' field goal attempt late in fourth quarter to help Browns maintain three-point lead during a 20-17 victory.
