The Cleveland Browns have signed DL Kenton Adeyemi (pronounced ADD-a-YEM-ee). In addition, the team placed OL Michael Bowie on reserve/retired.
Adeyemi is a 6-3, 279-pound rookie out of Connecticut. Originally signed by Chicago as an undrafted free agent on May 16, he was waived on June 16. He appeared in 30 games with 23 starts at UConn and registered 63 tackles and three sacks. A native of Wethersfield, Conn., he graduated from Kingwood-Oxford High School.
