Browns sign FB Robert Hughes, RB Rajion Neal

The Cleveland Browns have signed FB Robert Hughes and RB Rajion (pronounced RAY-jhon) Neal. In addition, the team waived FB Patrick Skov.

Hughes is 5-10, 257 pounds and is officially entering his third NFL season out of Notre Dame. Originally signed by Chicago as an undrafted free agent in 2011, he has appeared in 22 games with five starts with Arizona (2012-13) and Indianapolis (2014). He has eight carrier carries for 16 yards and 10 receptions for 149 yards. Last season, he spent time on the Cardinals' practice squad. A native of Chicago, Ill, he graduated from Hubbard High School.

Neal is 5-11, 211 pounds and is officially in his first NFL season out of Tennessee. In June, he participated in the Browns minicamp on a tryout basis. Originally signed by Green Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2014, he has spent time on the practice squads of Green Bay, Miami, Oakland and Pittsburgh. A native of Fayetteville, Ga., he graduated from Sandy Creek High School.

Skov was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 5.
