Browns sign RB Jahwan Edwards

The Cleveland Browns have signed RB Jahwan Edwards.

Edwards is a 5-9, 220-pound first-year running back out of Ball State.  Originally signed by San Diego in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, he spent time on the practice squads for Atlanta, Jacksonville and Miami last season. He also spent the 2016 offseason with Dolphins before being waived on May 2nd. 

Edwards finished his career at Ball State as the school's all-time leader in career rushing yards (4,558) and TDs (51). A native of Matthews N.C., he attended Butler High School.
