The Cleveland Browns have signed TE Sal Cannella and waived TE Tre' McKitty.

Cannella (6-5, 242) is officially in his first NFL season out of Auburn. Originally signed by Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2021, he has spent time with the Dolphins (2021), Packers (2022), Seahawks (2023) and Buccaneers (2024). Cannella most recently played for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL) and was selected to the All-UFL team in 2025 and led the league in receiving touchdowns in 2024.
