Browns record vs. Ravens

  • The Ravens hold the all-time regular season record against the Browns 38-15.
  • The Browns have a 9-17 record at home against the Ravens.
  • The Browns and Ravens met in Week 2 of the 2025 season, in which Cleveland lost 41-17 to Baltimore.

Storylines to Watch

  • How the Browns limit dual-threat QB Lamar Jackson — The Browns' defense could face QB Lamar Jackson for the second time this season, and will look to limit his dual-threat ability in passing the ball and using his legs to scramble. In his six games this season, Jackson has completed 103 of 147 passing attempts for 1,249 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. He has also recorded 35 carries for 216 rushing yards and one touchdown. All levels of both the run and pass defenses will have to account for Jackson and prepare to stop him in the run game, apply pressure with the pass rush and cover intended receivers to limit Jackson's ability to find his targets.
  • How the Browns utilize the run and the pass game — Offensively, the Browns have an opportunity to take advantage of both the run and the pass game against the Ravens' defense. Baltimore gives up 123.2 rushing yards per game, ranked 20th in the league, and 249.4 passing yards per game, ranked 27th in the league. The Browns rank 26th in the league in average rushing yards with 97.1 rushing yards per game; however, RB Quinshon Judkins has provided a spark to the run game with his 140 carries for 561 rushing yards and five touchdowns. The Browns have struggled this season to find consistency in the pass game, as they rank 29th in the league with 168 passing yards per game. However, if they can blend the use of the run and pass game, they can move the ball down the field and into scoring position.
  • How the Browns stop Derrick Henry and the run game — In the first meeting between the Browns and the Ravens in Week 2, Cleveland limited Henry to 23 rushing yards — his lowest total of the season. They limited Baltimore to a total of 45 net rushing yards for the game, not allowing a run over 11 yards. However, as the season has continued, the Ravens are using multiple options out of the backfield alongside Henry, including RB Justice Hill and RB Keaton Mitchell, as well as the threat of Jackson to run the ball. The Ravens rank fifth in the league in average rushing yards per game at 137.3. Yet, this season, the Browns are only allowing an average of 97.9 rushing yards per game, ranked 10th in the league. If the Browns can stop the run, they can limit the Ravens' ability to move the ball downfield.
