- How the Browns pressure QB Cam Ward — The Browns' defense will face the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft when QB Cam Ward and the Titans come to Huntington Bank Field. This season, Ward has completed 246 of 412 passing attempts for 2,351 passing yards and seven touchdowns. He has also thrown six interceptions and been sacked 48 times through 12 games. The Browns have excelled at applying pressure to opposing quarterbacks, ranked second in the league with 43 sacks and have a total of 86 quarterback hits. If the Browns can continue to pressure Ward and bring him down behind the line of scrimmage for the sack, they can keep points off the board for a Titans' offense that averages the fewest points per game at 14.2.
- How the Browns utilize the run game — Offensively, the Browns have another opportunity to use the run game and help move the ball into scoring position. While Cleveland only averages 98.5 rushing yards per game, ranked 27th in the league, the Titans' defense gives up an average of 127.6 rushing yards per game, ranked 22nd in the league, and 4.6 yards per carry. RB Quinshon Judkins has handled a majority of the carries throughout the season with 196 carries for 758 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, averaging about 3.9 yards per carry. Balancing the use of the run game can create opportunities for the offense to find success in the pass game as well.
- How the Browns stop RB Tony Pollard and the run game — The Browns also have a chance to shut down the Titans' run game, which averages 76.7 rushing yards per game — the second fewest in the league. RB Tony Pollard has shouldered Tennessee's run game this season with 150 carries for 582 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He has had just one run over 20 rushing yards this season. If the Browns' run defense, which ranks 10th in the league allowing an average of 101.3 rushing yards per game, can contain Pollard, they can slow down the run game and force Ward into passing situations. The Titans average 165.8 passing yards per game, the third fewest in the league.
