Browns record vs. Steelers

- The Browns have a 21-51 record on the road against the Steelers.

Storylines to Watch
- Dillon Gabriel's first road game vs. divisional opponent — For this second NFL start, Gabriel will face a divisional opponent on the road in the Steelers. This will be the Browns' third AFC North matchup of the season, and the first of two meetings between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. While the Browns have struggled to win on the road in Pittsburgh in recent years, Gabriel will experience another new environment in just his second start at quarterback.
- How the Browns' defense pressures QB Aaron Rodgers — The Browns will face another veteran quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, who has helped lead the Steelers to their 3-1 record and is coming off their Bye week in Week 5. This season, Rodgers has completed 74 of 108 passing attempts for 786 passing yards and eight touchdowns. He has thrown three interceptions and been sacked nine times for a loss of 64 yards. The Browns have applied ample pressure to opposing quarterbacks throughout the first five weeks of the season, totaling 14 sacks and 27 quarterback hits. If the Browns' defense can continue to collapse the pocket and put pressure on Rodgers with their pass rush, as well as defend their receivers with their coverage, the Browns could force the Steelers into tough offensive positions and keep points off the board.
- How the Browns' offense limits giveaways — The Browns have a tough matchup in the Steelers' defense, particularly in their ability to force turnovers as they are plus-7 in the turnover differential. They have forced 10 total turnovers, including five interceptions and five fumbles. On the flip side, the Browns have turned the ball over eight times in the first five games of the season on six interceptions and two fumbles. However, in Gabriel's first start in Week 5, he did not turn the ball over. If Gabriel can protect the ball and hit his targets in the pass game, and those pass catchers can hold onto the ball, the Browns can keep the Steelers from forcing those turnovers and giving the ball back to the Steelers' offense.
