The Browns played complimentary football in their 27-24 win over the Titans, propelling them to a 5-2 record to start the season. With clutch performances on all three sides of the ball, the Browns remain in first place in the AFC North.

"Unbelievable team win," head coach Todd Monken said. "There's something about this group and there's just something about those guys that play the next play and continue to fight for each other."

Here are five players that helped the Browns tie their best start to a season since 1999.

Deshaun Watson

QB Deshaun Watson recorded his first 300-yard passing game with the Browns, throwing for 308 yards in the win. He completed 25 of his 36 pass attempts and added a 9-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Led by Watson's performance, the Browns' offense notched 491 total net yards, their highest in a game this season.

"We had the same mentality that we have every week," Watson said. "If we execute and are all on the same page, I get the ball out to get the guys catch-and-run opportunities. We pick up the protection and figure out what coverage they are in, then we'll have opportunities on the back end to be able to catch it."

For the fifth time this season, Watson also led the Browns' offense on a game-winning drive. Watson completed each of his three pass attempts for 50 total yards on the drive to move the Browns into field goal range in under a minute. He became just the third quarterback since the 1970 merger to lead a game-winning drive in each of his team's first five wins of a season.

"Being in this league for 10 years now, I understand that a lot of games are going to come down to that, if not every game," Watson said. "So, if we're close enough in it, have those opportunities, we just have to lock in. That's where the pressure (is) and you really have to be on your Ps and Qs."

Andre Szmyt

For the third time this season, K Andre Szmyt converted on a game-winning field goal, nailing a 32-yard field goal to lift the Browns to their second straight walk-off win. With three seconds remaining, Szmyt stepped up and drilled the field goal, causing Browns players to rush the field in celebration.

Szmyt made two of his three field goal attempts in the game and converted on all three of his point-after attempts. This season, Szmyt has made 14 of his 16 field goal attempts, tied for the eighth most in the NFL.

KC Concepcion Jr.

WR KC Concepcion Jr.'s impact was felt all over the field as he recorded eight receptions for 129 yards, both career-highs through his first seven games. He had three catches of 20 or more yards, highlighting his big play ability in the pass game. Concepcion's 129 receiving yards, which all came in the first half, are the eighth most in a game by a Browns rookie.

"I play this game with so much heart and so much effort," Concepcion said. "I'm glad that Browns fans and the Browns community were finally able to see what I can bring to this team."

On the Browns' fourth-quarter touchdown drive, Concepcion also had an 18-yard run where he bounced off multiple defenders to help set up Watson's score. He had three carries for 23 yards to total 152 yards from scrimmage, a season-high for the Browns this season.

Denzel Ward

When the Browns needed a big play from their defense to flip momentum, CB Denzel Ward came through. Ward recorded the 20th interception of his career in the second quarter, ripping away a pass intended for Titans WR Elic Ayomanor. The Titans had the ball in Cleveland territory and were looking to add to their lead when Ward turned the game around with his interception. On the Browns' ensuing offensive possession, the offense marched 78 yards down the field to tie the game.

Only six players in the NFL have recorded more interceptions than Ward this season, who has two following his key play against the Titans. Ward also led the team with three passes defensed and tallied two tackles in the win. Through the first seven weeks of the season, Ward has a 90.3 overall PFF grade to lead all cornerbacks in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.

Quinshon Judkins

After returning from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, RB Quinshon Judkins didn't miss a beat. Judkins posted his best performance of the season so far, recording a season-high 96 rushing yards and two touchdowns. On 17 carries, Judkins' 5.6 yards per carry also marked a season-high through his first six games.

Judkins jump-started the Browns' offense on their second drive of the game, breaking free for a 30-yard gain down the left sideline, his longest run of the season. On the next play, Judkins found the end zone for his first touchdown of the game. In the second quarter, Judkins ran in his second touchdown from six yards out to tie the game, tallying his third career game with multiple rushing touchdowns.
