Andre Szmyt makes game-winning field goal in Week 6 vs. Ravens | Players of the Game

Carson Schwesinger forced a key fumble that helped turn the game for the Browns

As the Browns secured their fourth win of the season, beating out the Ravens 13-10 in Week 6, all three sides of the ball executed crucial roles. On the back of clutch plays and key performances, the Browns improved to 4-2 on the season.

"We have a lot to work on, and we'll go back to work tomorrow, but that was pretty cool," head coach Todd Monken said. "Just the way the guys fought and to get that big completion at the end, because there were a lot of things that weren't clean enough, in coaching or playing. But our guys are a scrappy group, and they play their rear ends off for 60 minutes, and that'll always give you a chance to win."

Here are three players that helped the Browns jump out to their third 3-0 start at home since 1999.

Carson Schwesinger

When the Browns needed a momentum-swinging play, LB Carson Schwesinger came through. A little over two minutes into the fourth quarter, Schwesinger forced the ball loose from RB Derrick Henry. CB Tyson Campbell recovered the fumble to give the Browns possession on the Ravens' 35-yard line – which they took advantage of, punching home the game-tying touchdown seven plays later.

"That's what we talked about," Schwesinger said. "The ball is oxygen. That was big in the offseason for me with trying to get the ball out in the run game. I was able to get one of those and we were able to get on top of it and get the ball and put the offense in a good position to score and get the momentum going."

Schwesinger also tallied a team-high 13 tackles in the Week 6 win, making him the only Browns' defender to record double-digit tackles in the game. In the first half alone, Schwesinger recorded 11 tackles.

"Just play football. That's it," Schwesinger said. "Make the plays that come your way and do your job. We got the outcome we wanted at the end."

Andre Szmyt

For the second time in three games, K Andre Szmyt stepped onto the field with a chance to win the game for the Browns. And for the second time, he delivered.

With the score tied 10-10, Szmyt lined up for the 37-yard attempt. After missing a 48-yard attempt around four minutes earlier, Szmyt connected on the walk off field goal with no time remaining to push the Browns past the Ravens. The kick marked Szmyt's fourth game-winning kick of his career and second of the season.

"I just try to live in the moment and try to enjoy it with the guys," Szmyt said. "The trust that everybody has in me, top down, it feels good and allows me to go out there without nerves and just go out there and do my job."

In addition to the game-winning field goal, Szmyt connected on a 48-yard attempt in the third quarter. The 48-yard field goal miss in the fourth quarter snapped Szmyt's consecutive field goal streak at 25, but it still ranks as the third longest streak in Browns history.

Jerry Jeudy

WR Jerry Jeudy elevated his game on the final possession for the Browns, playing a pivotal role on the game-winning drive. QB Deshaun Watson connected with Jeudy across the middle of the field for a 33-yard gain on third-and-5 that moved the Browns into field goal range.

"It was a dig route, they went cover two, so the middle was wide open," Jeudy said. "Deshaun (Watson) delivered a good ball, and I just made a catch and tried to get the most I can and go out of bounds."

Jeudy finished the game with four receptions for a team-high 69 receiving yards. The 69 receiving yards marks his highest total in a game this season, and the performance brings him north of 5,000 career receiving yards.

As Jeudy has adjusted to a different role this season behind WR KC Concepcion Jr. and WR Denzel Boston, he has had to practice patience. But he hasn't allowed that to let his confidence waver.

"It's pretty difficult as a receiver, wanting to be out there and compete, wanting to be involved in the game plan, wanting to go out there and make plays," Jeudy said. "But you can't let that discourage you. Got to stay focused and wait your turn, week by week, and eventually once your numbers called, make a play and that's what I did."
