The Cleveland Browns have placed CB Martin Emerson Jr. (Achilles) on injured reserve and waived WR Michael Woods II (hand) with an injury designation.

Emerson, a third-round pick in 2022, has appeared in 50 games with the Browns. He has recorded 202 career tackles, four interceptions, 34 passes defensed and one sack. He appeared in all 17 games last season and registered a career-high 80 tackles.
