The Browns continue to solidify their depth on the defensive line, as they have signed DE Julian Okwara.
Okwara spent time on the Browns' practice squad during the 2025 season before he was placed on practice squad/injured reserve in December 2025.
Okwara was first drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent his first four years in the league in Detroit. He appeared in 38 games and earned four starts, and recorded 54 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits, nine sacks, three passes defensed, one interception and one fumble recovery.
He then spent the 2024 season in Arizona, where he appeared in 13 games and earned one start. With the Cardinals, he totaled 18 tackles, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one sack and one pass defensed.
