Browns sign K Lucas Havrisik

The Browns also waived QB Jacob Sirmon

The Cleveland Browns have signed K Lucas Havrisik and waived QB Jacob Sirmon.

Havrisik (6-2, 188) enters his second NFL season out of Arizona. Originally signed to the Colts' practice squad in 2022, Havrisik spent time on the Browns' practice squad in 2023 before signing to Rams' active roster. In his nine games for the Rams, he connected on 15 of 20 field goal attempts and 19 of 22 PATs.

Havrisik was then signed to a reserve/futures contract by the Browns in Jan. 2024. He was waived on May 14 before he was signed on May 20.

Sirmon, who finished his collegiate career at Northern Colorado, participated in the Browns rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. He was first signed on May 12. Sirmon attended the University of Washington and Central Michigan before transferring to Northern Colorado in 2022. As a senior in 2023, Sirmon completed 133-of-236 passes for 1,355 yards and eight touchdowns.
