The Cleveland Browns have signed TE Mitch Van Vooren and RB Trayveon Williams. The team also waived T Julian Pearl.
Van Vooren (6-5, 242) is a rookie out of St. Norbert. Originally signed by Seattle as an undrafted free agent this offseason, Van Vooren recorded 65 receptions for 1,045 yards and 13 touchdowns in two seasons at St. Norbert. He was also an All-American for the track team finishing fourth in the NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championship in the 400-meter hurdles. Van Vooren will wear No. 44.
Williams (5-8, 206) is entering his seventh NFL season out of Tesas A&M. Originally selected by the Bengals in the sixth round of the 2019 draft, Williams appeared in 68 games with the Bengals from 2019-24. Last season, he appeared in all 17 games for Cincinnati. Williams will wear No. 36.
