Browns record vs. Ravens

  • The Ravens hold the all-time regular season record against the Browns 37-15.
  • The Browns split their games against the Ravens during the 2024 season, beating the Ravens in Week 8 29-24, and dropping their Week 18 matchup 35-10.
  • The Browns have a 6-20 record in the regular season against the Ravens on the road.

Storylines to Watch

  • How the Browns pressure QB Lamar Jackson — The Browns' defense is set to see another top quarterback in the AFC North in QB Lamar Jackson and will need to handle his dual-threat ability as a quarterback. In Week 1 against the Bills, Jackson completed 14 of 19 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns, as well as rushed for 70 yards on six carries and a touchdown. The Browns' defense must account for Jackson in the run game, as well as pressure him in the pocket. Jackson was sacked twice by the Bills for a loss of 15 yards, and if the Browns' defensive line can use their attack-style defense to bring Jackson down, they can limit the success of the Ravens on the offensive side of the ball.
  • How the Browns establish the pass game — In the Ravens' Week 1 matchup against the Bills, their defense gave up 389 passing yards, which ranked 30th in the league. On the flip side, the Browns found success through the air in their Week 1 matchup against the Bengals, finishing the game with 278 net passing yards, ranked fifth in the league. If QB Joe Flacco can find his pass catching threats and move the ball down the field through the air, the Browns can be in position to put points on the board in Week 2.
  • How the Browns' run defense stops RB Derrick Henry and the run game — In Week 1 against the Bills, RB Derrick Henry rushed for 169 yards on 18 carries, averaging 9.4 yards per carry and scoring two rushing touchdowns. The Ravens totaled 238 net rushing yards, with Henry leading Baltimore in both carries and rushing yards. The Browns' run defense will have to find a way to limit his success in the run game, especially for long gains as he broke through the Bills' defense for a 30-yard touchdown run, a 46-yard touchdown run and another 49-yard run.
