11.30 Browns 49ers by the Numbers Article

While DE Myles Garrett pulled one sack closer to the NFL single-season sack record and QB Shedeur Sanders threw his second career passing touchdown, the Browns fell to the 49ers in Week 13.

Cleveland lost 26-8 to San Francisco for its ninth loss of the season. The Browns allowed the 49ers to start drives with good field position and couldn't respond to their scoring drives, leading to the fourth home loss.

Here are 10 key numbers from the Week 13 matchup.

1 – Garrett recorded one sack against the 49ers. With 14:20 left in the fourth quarter and San Francisco facing a third-and-4, Garrett used a swim move to beat his blocker and brought down 49ers QB Brock Purdy to force a fourth down. The sack was Garrett's 19th this season, putting him four sacks away from breaking the NFL single-season sack record.

2 – The Browns had two turnovers, both of which set up San Francisco in Cleveland territory. The Browns' first turnover came on fourth-and-1 at their own 33-yard line, down 10-8 in the third quarter. The Browns snapped directly to TE Harold Fannin Jr., but he fumbled the snap and 49ers LB Luke Gifford recovered the ball at the 32-yard line. The 49ers scored on the possession, taking a 17-8 lead. The second turnover came in the fourth quarter when WR Gage Larvadain muffed a punt and San Francisco recovered the ball at the 18-yard line.

4 – Cleveland made four tackles for loss, including two from Garrett. He increased his season total in tackles for loss to 28. LB Carson Schwesinger and DT Shelby Harris both notched a tackle for loss as well.

10 – Schwesinger recorded 10 combined tackles against San Francisco, his sixth time reaching double-digit tackles this season. He surpassed the 100-tackle mark and is now at 106 tackles for the season, leading the Browns in tackles.

11- The 49ers converted on 11 of their 17 third down attempts, the highest conversion rate the Browns have allowed this season. San Francisco scored on third down on all three of its touchdowns.

34 – Fannin scored a 34-yard receiving touchdown, the longest of his career. With 47 seconds left before halftime, Sanders passed to an open Fannin at the 49ers' 10-yard line. Fannin powered through two defenders, reaching the end zone for his third career receiving touchdown. The touchdown was Fannin's first score since Week 8 against the Patriots. He is now tied with TE David Njoku for the team lead for receiving touchdowns. Fannin finished the game with three catches for 43 yards.

55.1 – Purdy completed 55.1 percent of his passes, his lowest completion percentage this season and the sixth-worst percentage of his career. He completed 16 of 29 passing attempts for 168 yards and a touchdown.

66 – 49ers WR Skyy Moore returned a punt 66 yards in the first quarter, leading to San Francisco's first touchdown. P Corey Bojorquez punted the ball 48 yards to the 49ers' 18-yard line, but Moore fended off Browns defenders and reached the Browns' 16-yard line. TE Blake Whiteheart tracked down Moore and stopped him from scoring.

91 – RB Quinshon Judkins ran for 91 yards against the 49ers, his best rushing output since Week 5 versus the Vikings. He had 23 carries in the game, tied for the second-most this season with the game against Minnesota. Judkins also had a two-point conversion in the second quarter on Cleveland's sole touchdown.

149 – Sanders threw for 149 passing yards in his second start of the season. He completed 64 percent of his passes, the best mark in his three games played. He threw a 34-yard touchdown to Fannin, the second passing touchdown of his career.
