The Browns' defense made their way into the backfield often to sack Raiders QB Geno Smith, punishing the Raiders' offensive line and recording 10 sacks.
The consistent pass rush from the Browns helped lead them to a 24-10 win against the Raiders, winning their third game of the year and first game on the road. DE Myles Garrett broke the Browns' single-season sack record while QB Shedeur Sanders made his first NFL regular season start.
Here are 10 key numbers from the Browns' Week 12 win against the Raiders.
2- CB Denzel Ward notched two passes defensed, breaking former Browns CB Joe Haden's record for most games all-time with multiple pass deflections with his 29th game. Ward added a tackle for loss, tackling Raiders WR Tre Tucker five yards in the backfield in the first quarter.
2.9 – Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty struggled to make his way into Cleveland's second level, recording 2.9 yards per carry. Jeanty had 50 rushing yards on 17 carries as well as eight passes for 58 receiving yards, including a touchdown. His average yards per carry was Jeanty's third lowest this season.
10 – Cleveland's defense recorded 10 sacks against the Raiders, the most an NFL team has had in a single game this season, with eight different players recording sacks. Garrett led the team with three sacks while DT Maliek Collins set a career-high for sacks in a game with 2.5 sacks against the Raiders. The game brought his total to 6.5 sacks this year, a career-high for Collins. LB Devin Bush, DE Isaiah McGuire, DE Cameron Thomas all had one sack while DT Mike Hall Jr., DT Shelby Harris and LB Jerome Baker had half a sack.
13 – The Raiders committed 13 penalties for a total of 109 yards. One of Las Vegas' penalties led to the Browns' first score and helped set the road for the win ahead. Raiders P A.J. Cole tripped WR Gage Larvadain on a punt return at the Las Vegas 27-yard line in the first quarter. The penalty allowed the Browns to have their first play of the possession at the 13-yard line. Cleveland scored two plays later to take a 7-0 lead.
16 – There were 16 combined punts between the Browns and the Raiders. The deepest the Browns pinned the Raiders was at their own 10-yard line as P Corey Bojorquez punted from Las Vegas's 29-yard line with 52 seconds left in the game. The deepest the Raiders pinned Cleveland was at the Browns 9-yard line right before halftime.

18 – Garrett broke the single-season sack record for the Browns, totaling 18 on the season in 11 games after a three-sack performance. He sacked Smith for the first time in the second quarter to tie the record before adding two sacks and breaking the record in the fourth quarter. He tallied four tackles for loss and extended his NFL lead in the category with 26 on the season.
24 – The Raiders were held to 24 percent on their third down conversions against the Browns, the second-best mark the Browns' defense has allowed this season. Las Vegas had 17 third down attempts but only converted on four of them.
47 – RB Quinshon Judkins ran for 47 yards against the Raiders. He scored two touchdowns on the ground, both out of the wildcat formation. His two wildcat touchdowns mark the second time this season he has had two touchdowns from the formation. In Week 7 against the Dolphins, he scored a 3-yard and 2-yard touchdown from the wildcat. The two touchdowns against Las Vegas bring him to seven touchdowns on the season.
66 – RB Dylan Sampson caught a pass from Sanders in the backfield, followed his blockers and took off for a 66-yard touchdown with 8:18 remaining in the fourth quarter. The touchdown was Sampson's second receiving touchdown of his career. He added 23 rushing yards on seven carries for a total of 82 all-purpose yards in the game.
209 – Sanders threw for 209 yards in his NFL regular season start. He added a touchdown to Sampson and threw an interception in the second quarter. In the first quarter, Sanders threw the longest pass in the game when he connected with WR Isaiah Bond for a 52-yard gain to the Las Vegas 2-yard line.
