Dawg Pound! The Dawg days of summer are here, the Cleveland Browns in partnership with the American Red Cross are hosting the annual Blood Drive on August 1st in association with Cuyahoga Community College. Locations are open all over Northern Ohio, click here to find a site near you and make an appointment today by clicking here.

With school being out for the summer and many members of our community away during these months, it is a crucial time to donate blood to help prevent a summer shortage! Every pint of blood can help improve 3 lives!

New this year, Cuyahoga Community College has come on board to support the annual Cleveland Browns Blood Drive!  The College will be hosting a location on their Eastern Campus in Highland Hills with special guests Hanford Dixon and Kevin Mack.  Through the commitment of Cuyahoga Community College, the team strives to help impact as many lives as we can.

"Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) is proud to partner with the Cleveland Browns #give10 initiative. This year's Browns Blood Drive will benefit many at a time when the American Red Cross needs more donors to serve patients throughout Northeast Ohio. Tri-C is happy to host one of the August 1 blood drives at our Eastern Campus in Highland Hills. We encourage the community to join us in giving blood to help those in our community," said Dr. J. Michael Thomson, Eastern Campus President, Cuyahoga Community College.

Thousands of blood donations are needed each and every day to help treat accident victims, cancer patients, children with blood disorders and others.  All blood types are needed to ensure an adequate blood supply is available.  Donors with type O negative, O positive, A negative or B negative are especially encouraged to give at this time.

The American Red Cross is a proud community partner of the Browns First and Ten movement, inspiring fans globally to commit at least 10 hours of community service in the next year. Fans can receive their official orange #give10 wristband at any of the drive sites part of the Cleveland Browns Annual Blood Drive.

So DawgPound, we are asking YOU to come out to one of the locations on August 1st and make a difference! All presenting blood donors at each blood drive will receive a commemorative Browns First and Ten T-shirt (while supplies last), as well as have the chance to win great prizes, including memorabilia and 2 tickets to a pre-season Browns game!
