Pregame Notes:

NDCL (2-0) is led by first year Head Coach Andrew Mooney and is coming off a big win against Chagrin Falls, where they put on a dominating performance, outscoring their opponent 35-11.
University School is led by Head Coach Ben Malbasa. Malbasa left the NDCL at the end of last season, where he had coached the Lions the last two seasons. This year he returned to his Alma Mater with hopes to defeat NDCL in his return to Lion Stadium.

The Preppers (1-1) are fresh off a win against East High School where they won 43-28, rebounding from their first game of the season, in which they lost to Shaker Heights 9-21.
Last year the Preppers took a crushing defeat on their home field against the Lions in a 40-6 rout. This year the Preppers will be looking to rebound after two big losses in back to back years.

The Lions will be relying heavily on upperclassmen QB Tyler Sabath and RB Harrison Richardson. Last year Richardson had a break out season, he rushed for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and Coach Mooney noted that this team will be a run-first team this season.

Can Malbasa and the Preppers defeat NDCL in his return to Lion Stadium? We'll find out tonight under the lights in Chardon.

Good luck to both teams and stay tuned for a post-game report.
