Wadsworth Hosts Nordonia in the Game of the Week

Pregame Notes:
Nordonia (9-0) is led by third year head coach Jeff Fox. Before taking over in 2012, the Knights were coming off three 2-8 season. Fox's presence brought quick improvement and success, leading to a 7-4 (2012), 8-3 (2013), and currently sitting undefeated with a 9-0 record.
Wadsworth (7-2) is led by head coach Greg Dennison. Dennison, now in his 20th year with Wadsworth, is the winningest coach in school history.
Wadsworth is coming off a 34-27 win over Copley. Junior running back Daniel Weinerman had a strong second half and finished the night with 34 carries for 219 yards and 4 touchdowns. Look for Wadsworth to stay committed to the run, controlling the tempo of the game and keeping Nordonia's spread offense off the field.
Last week, Nordonia defeated Revere 34-14. Senior quarterback David Murray was 26-of-37 passing for 286 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Two of Murray's touchdown passes were to Ohio State commit Denzel Ward. Ward, who also plays corner, leads the defense with senior defensive end, and Michigan State commit, Justice Alexander and senior linebacker Noah Pennypacker, who recorded two interceptions.
