Browns DE Myles Garrett ranked No. 49 on NFL's Top 100 Players

Myles Garrett eventually wants to become the best defensive player in the NFL. He has his sights set on winning Defensive Player of the Year in 2019, but the defensive end is still earning recognition for the Pro Bowl season he had in 2018.

Garrett was ranked No. 49 in NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2018 list after he finished seventh in the league with 13.5 sacks last season. Garrett finished one spot ahead of Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield in the rankings, which are compiled after players around the league vote on who they think are the top players from each year. Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry also ranked No. 84 on the list.

Since he entered the league, Garrett has quickly risen to one of the top defensive ends in the NFL. The 2017 No. 1 overall draft pick recorded seven sacks in 11 games as a rookie and could top his sack total from last season with the arrival of Olivier Vernon on the other end of the defensive line.

NFL Network's series continues for the next four nights at 9 p.m., revealing 10 players at a time.
