The Browns on Monday signed restricted free agent RB D'Ernest Johnson.

Johnson is entering his fourth year with the Browns and is coming off the best season of his career. He rushed for 534 yards (5.3 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in 2021, as he filled in as a starter on multiple occasions while Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt battled injuries. For his career, Johnson has 721 rushing yards, 222 receiving yards and three scores.
