In the Cleveland Browns ongoing commitment to assisting in the development, safety and growth of youth and high school football throughout Northeast Ohio, we are proud to announce HELMETS, presented by the Cleveland Browns and UnitedHealthcare. Through this dynamic partnership with UnitedHealthcare, we will equip an area high school football program with new 5-star helmets (valued at $25,000), as per The Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings™.

As a prerequisite, programs must commit to enhancing player health and safety by enrolling in USA Football's medically endorsed Heads Up Football® program. Created by USA Football, the official youth development partner of the NFL and the Cleveland Browns, Heads Up Football® offers certification clinics to educate coaches about concussion recognition and response protocols, proper equipment fitting, Heads Up Tackling, Heads Up Blocking, heat emergency preparedness and hydration and sudden cardiac arrest.

2015 Application: *CLOSED

*The deadline for coaches and athletic directors in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties to enroll their football programs in Heads Up Football® was Friday, May 8, 2015.

The 2015 grand prize winning program will be announced on June 6, 2015 at the Cleveland Browns Fan Fest.

HELMETS, presented by the Cleveland Browns and UnitedHealthcare will return during the upcoming Cleveland Browns 2015 regular season. Official rules and regulations coming soon.
