The Browns are set for their second tune-up game against the Eagles on Saturday after two joint practices in Philadelphia.

The preseason game will be the third between the Browns and Eagles in the past four seasons. The Eagles played host in 2023 and 2025, while the Browns were the home team in 2022, holding the joint practice at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus.

With just two more games before the Browns finish the preseason, here are three burning questions that could be answered on Saturday:

What will the Browns quarterback rotation look like against the Eagles?

With all but two of the six quarterbacks on the Browns roster dealing with an injury, head coach Kevin Stefanski and the Browns are dealing with the situation carefully.

Quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Tyler Huntley are the two healthy players in the position room, but Stefanski ruled out Flacco playing in Saturday's game. Quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett are dealing with hamstring injuries while QB Shedeur Sanders suffered an oblique injury in the early portion of joint practice on Wednesday. QB Deshaun Watson ruptured his Achilles tendon last season and is on the active/PUP list.

"We'll work through all (the injuries). Obviously, (Tyler Huntley) knows exactly what to do, how to do it, so is ready to roll," Stefanski said. "We'll see who else is available but have to get through today before I know that."

Gabriel returned to taking reps in team drills on Monday's practice, as well as both joint practices in Philadelphia. Pickett participated in 7-on-7 on the first day and in individual drills both practices against the Eagles. Sanders was largely held out both practices due to the oblique injury. He sustained the injury during individual drills during the first practice against the Eagles and was held out of the rest of practice. He did not participate in team drills in the second joint practice but was out on the field.

Stefanski emphasized that he had to watch the second day of joint practice to know where each guy was and what their availability would be for the preseason game.

How will the Browns' offensive and defensive lines hold up in the trenches?

On the first day of the joint practices, each team's defensive line had success getting into the backfield.

Both DE Myles Garrett and rookie DT Mason Graham had two "sacks" during 11-on-11 drills. DE Alex Wright added a "sack" and rookie LB Carson Schwesinger even had half a "sack," continuing an impressive training camp. Multiple other defensive linemen like DE Isaiah McGuire and DE Cameron Thomas added to the chaos. McGuire and Thomas found a way to pressure Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and flush him out of the pocket.

"We had our moments as well as they did. That's a very good offensive line," Stefanski said. "They're schemed up really well. The quarterback does a great job moving in the pocket, but I thought our guys competed really well."

For Cleveland's offensive line, going up against stout players like DE Jalen Carter or DT Jordan Davis is a challenge that any NFL gameplans for. Stefanski said that NFL teams won't beat the Eagles with a simple run game. He noted that the Browns have to find ways to maximize the gains on the ground via schemes or motions because of what Philadelphia brings defensively.

However, Stefanski said that despite Philadelphia's defensive front's reputation, the Browns held their own.

"When you're going up against a really good defense, particularly that front, not to take anything away from their back end, but their front is a very large, powerful front," Stefanski said. "I thought the guys had had their moments and then the Philly defense had their moments, but that's kind of what you do in these settings."

How is Stefanski shuffling the roster and adjusting snaps for the second preseason game?

After getting his first look at the Browns preseason roster, Stefanski heads into game two looking to move things around.

Before the second joint practice between Cleveland and Philadelphia, Stefanski talked about potentially mixing and matching the offensive line to see what combinations would work best. However, he also said that the plan he has in place for Saturday's roster is very similar to the one that he had for against the Panthers in the first preseason game.

"Now there will be some guys that play Saturday that didn't play last week," Stefanski said. "There were some guys that played last week that don't play Saturday. It's really based on what each player needs to get ready for the season."
