Berea, Ohio – On Nov. 30, the Cleveland Browns coaches and players will once again champion meaningful causes through the NFL's annual My Cause My Cleats campaign. Now in its 10th year, the player-led initiative partners athletes and artists to raise awareness and funds for the philanthropic organizations and passions that matter most to them.
This season, there will be causes spotlighted including healthcare, education and youth enrichment, military appreciation, school attendance and more Nov. 30 for the Browns vs. 49ers game at Huntington Bank Field. More than 1,000 players and coaches across the league participate in the initiative each year. Athletes may also auction their custom cleats on NFL Auction, with proceeds benefiting their selected charities.
The Browns collaborated with various artists to bring their causes to the field, including Cleveland artist Jonathan Hrusovsky, creator of Hrusovsky’s Custom Kicks. Hrusovsky specializes in hand-painted, one-of-a-kind designs on footwear and sports equipment and continues his partnership with the team through this initiative. This year, Hrusovsky is customizing cleats for DT Shelby Harris and CB Denzel Ward. The team also worked with nationally acclaimed artist Soles by Sir of Miami, Fla.
Stay in the Game! (SITG!) Attendance Network ambassadors DT Shelby Harris and WR Cedric Tillman will represent the Network to raise awareness for the importance of school attendance. On Nov. 11, the Browns SITG! Attendance Network visited Brooklyn School, where students worked with Harris and Hrusovsky to create the cleat design. Each student sketched their vision, and Hrusovsky will incorporate elements from every design into the final pair of cleats Harris will wear on gameday.
Browns 2025 Salute to Service Award nominee, G Wyatt Teller, will represent Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. service members who have fallen or been disabled during military service.
Three players will represent their own foundations. T Cornelius Lucas will highlight Laps with Luc – CL3 Foundation, which promotes leadership, education, health, and technology opportunities for local youth and underserved communities. S Grant Delpit will support the GD Express Foundation, which focuses on youth camps, back-to-school initiatives, and community events to promote the foundation's mission to uplift the communities where we live, work, and thrive. CB Denzel Ward will be working with Make Them Know Your Name, his own foundation dedicated to helping prevent heart-related fatalities in communities across the nation.
Bitonio, Bojorquez, Garrett, Sunahara and Zinter will represent causes supporting pediatric health. Jeudy, McGuire, Thomas, Ward and Zappe chose organizations focused on general health.
Bitonio will also represent the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ), the nation's oldest judicial membership organization. The NCJFCJ equips judges, courts, and related agencies involved in juvenile, family, and domestic violence cases with the knowledge and skills needed to improve outcomes for the children and families who seek justice. QB Dillon Gabriel will support the Ho'ea Foundation, an organization dedicated to investing in the next generation by awarding grants to youth-focused programs in academics, athletics, arts, and agriculture.
LB Mohamoud Diabate will be supporting Doctors Without Borders, an organization that provides urgently needed humanitarian aid in moments of crisis and conflict. RB Dylan Sampson's cleats will be designed around the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, an organization that works with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the Inspiration Through Music program. Inspiration Through Music is a free program that provides beginner to intermediate music instruction for Cleveland residents and Cleveland Metropolitan School District students in grades 3–12.
Head Coach Kevin Stefanski will represent his own respective organization, The Keeper's Foundation, which invests in organizations that create meaningful opportunities for under-resourced youth. Pass Game Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach Chad O'Shea will support the Canopy Child Advocacy Center, which works to reduce trauma for children and families affected by child abuse. Assistant Special Teams Coach Kyle Hoke will support Autism Speaks, an organization committed to creating an inclusive world for individuals with autism throughout their lifespans. Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Monty Gibson will represent Scouting America, which prepares young people to make ethical and moral decisions guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
Through My Cause My Cleats, the Browns work to make a difference in communities in Northeast Ohio and beyond by finding new ways to support local organizations. Each pair of cleats tells a story, serves a purpose, and reflects the work the team promotes all year long through Browns Give Back.
