The Browns announced the game statuses for several players ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Dolphins.
TE David Njoku is listed as out with a knee injury. Njoku first sustained the knee injury in Week 6 against the Steelers and did not participate in practice throughout the week.
"David is a big part of this football team on and off the field, and the energy that he brings," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "We expect other guys to step up in his absence. But he'll be there on the sideline, and he'll provide that leadership that he always does."
RT Jack Conklin, DT Mason Graham, DT Mike Hall Jr., WR Gage Larvadain and DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka are all listed as questionable for Week 7.
Graham is working through a knee injury, which Stefanski said he "did something" during Thursday's practice. They will evaluate how he responds heading into the game. Stefanski said there is not a long-term concern with Graham's knee injury.
Conklin and Larvadain both suffered concussions in Week 6 against the Steelers and have been progressing through the concussion protocol. Conklin did not participate in Wednesday or Thursday's practices but returned during the open period of Friday's practice. Larvadain did not participate in Wednesday's practice but was a limited participant on Thursday.
Stefanski said both Conklin and Larvadain are progressing and working their way through the steps of the protocol.
Hall continues to progress back from his knee injury. He has missed the first six games of the season during his recovery. Hall was a limited participant in practice throughout the week.
"He continues to get better every single day," Stefanski said. "Obviously, Mike has been working so hard, so we're looking forward to that (as soon as possible)."
Tryon-Shoyinka is dealing with a hip injury he originally sustained in the third quarter against the Steelers in Week 6. He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
