Denzel Boston, Spencer Fano and Shedeur Sanders took first team reps on Monday

After a day off, the Browns returned for Day 11 of training camp on Monday. Practice was held indoors and the Browns were in shells as they begin preparation for the first preseason game against the Bears on Aug. 15.

The quarterback rotation continued, along with notable changes to reps at wide receiver and on the offensive line. During practice, the defensive ends limited the offense's ground game.

Quarterback rotation on Day 11

QB Shedeur Sanders took all the first team reps on Monday. QB Deshaun Watson took most of the second team reps while QB Dillon Gabriel rotated in for a handful of reps during different 11-on-11 periods.

Sanders made an accurate pass rolling to his right, firing the ball back-shoulder to RB Dylan Sampson, who dragged his feet for a long completion during an 11-on-11 period. During 11-on-11 work in the red zone towards the end of practice, Sanders connected with TE Harold Fannin Jr. for two touchdowns.

Watson, while rolling to his left, completed a pass on an across-body throw to WR Gage Larvadain over the middle of the field during an 11-on-11 period. In the red zone during 11-on-11, Watson found WR Tylan Wallace across the middle of the field for a touchdown.

Gabriel fit the ball to TE Carsen Ryan over the middle of the field during one of his reps in 11-on -11 periods.

Wide receiver and offensive line updates

Two rookies received rep changes and practiced with the first team on Day 11 of training camp.

On the offensive line, T Spencer Fano took first team reps at left tackle. Fano had been rotating reps with Dawand Jones, but head coach Todd Monken said before practice that Fano would take all the first team reps for the second consecutive practice.

G KT Leveston took most of the reps at right guard with the first team offense, while Teven Jenkins rotated in with the projected starters for a few 11-on-11 periods.

WR Denzel Boston also assumed a larger role on Monday. Similar to Fano, Monken said Boston would work with the first team offense before practice.

"He's made a bunch of plays," Monken said before practice. "I've seen it, you've seen it. He's made a bunch of plays. We want to move Jerry (Jeudy) around; I think Jerry is at his best when he's on the move."

During one 11-on-11 period, Sanders found Boston by the left sideline for a completion. Boston made another catch on a pass from Sanders on the perimeter during an 11-on-11 period.

Boston, WR KC Concepcion and WR Jerry Jeudy were the first in three wide receiver sets with the first team offense, while WR Isaiah Bond rotated in.

Defensive ends limit the run game

Monday was an impressive performance from the defensive end room against the run game, most notably from DE Isaiah McGuire

McGuire penetrated the backfield from the edge to blow up a run play for a likely tackle for loss during the fourth 11-on-11 period of practice. Within a couple plays, McGuire was in the backfield to shut down another run. In the 11-on-11 red zone period, McGuire made a similar play to stuff another Sanders designed run play towards the middle of the field.

In addition to McGuire's prowess against the run, both DE Jared Verse and DE Alex Wright also made key plays. Verse blew up a designed quarterback run by Sanders in an 11-on-11 period, not biting on the fake handoff. Wright set the edge well on a wide handoff to RB Quinshon Judkins to stuff the rush attempt during an 11-on-11 period.
