Injury report: DB Denzel Ward to miss 2nd straight game

The Browns will be without rookie cornerback Denzel Ward for a second straight game.

Ward missed all of the team's practices this week and has been ruled out for Saturday night's game at Denver. The first-round cornerback, who has emerged as the Browns' top player at the position, has been sidelined since the first half of Cleveland's Week 13 matchup in Houston with a concussion.

Ward is one of two Browns players ruled out for Saturday, joining offensive lineman Austin Corbett, who will miss his third straight game with a foot injury.

Defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (bicep), center JC Tretter (ankle) and DB Phillip Gaines (knee) are considered questionable. All three were limited participants in Thursday's practice.

Without Ward, the Browns used Terrance Mitchell and T.J. Carrie as starting cornerbacks with Briean Boddy-Calhoun in the slot. Mitchell returned last week for the first time since Week 4 in Oakland, when he broke his wrist.
