The Browns dropped their Week 5 game against the Jets, 17-12, in a low scoring matchup that featured heavy rain throughout. With the loss, the Browns moved to 3-2 this season through five games.

After QB Deshaun Watson found WR Denzel Boston for a 29-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Browns their first lead, P Corey Bojorquez could not handle the snap on the punt attempt on their next drive. The Jets took advantage of the Browns' special teams mistake, finding the end zone three plays later from 22 yards out to retake the lead. Cleveland's offense was unable to lead a game-winning touchdown drive, snapping its three-game winning streak.

Here are 10 key numbers from the Browns' Week 5 loss to the Jets.

2 – K Andre Szmyt converted both of his field goal attempts, including a 41-yard attempt in the second quarter. With his performance, Szmyt has made 24 straight field goals dating back to last season, the third longest streak in Browns history.

3 – LB Quincy Williams forced three fumbles against his former team, leading the way for the Browns' defense. Although the Jets recovered the first two, Williams forced his third fumble on a hit to TE Kenyon Sadiq in the third quarter, where S Ronnie Hickman jumped on the ball to give the Browns their first turnover of the game. Williams also had a team-high 11 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defensed.

4 – The Browns' defense recorded four sacks, with four different players teaming up to help bring down QB Geno Smith. DT Maliek Collins led the way with 1.5 sacks, while DT Sam Kamara and LB Carson Schwesinger each had one of their own. DT Adin Huntington contributed with a half of a sack when he helped Collins take down Smith in the first quarter.

6 – As a team, the Browns tied their season-low for penalties with six. Their 30 penalty yards also marked a season-low this season.

8 – Cleveland tallied eight tackles for losses to go along with its four sacks. DE Sam Williams and Collins both recorded two while S Grant Delpit, Kamara, Schwesinger and Quincy Williams each added one.

9 – The Browns' defense had nine quarterback hits on Smith. Collins led the team with three, DE Jared Verse had two and DE Isaiah McGuire, Huntington, Kamara and Schwesinger each had one.

13 – Offensively, the Browns recorded a season-low 13 first downs. They converted on four of 16 third-down attempts and did not tally a first down on either of their fourth-down attempts.

29 –Boston beat the Jets' secondary deep for a 29-yard touchdown to give the Browns the lead in the fourth quarter. The play marked Boston's third touchdown this season of 25 or more yards, highlighting the rookie wide receiver's explosiveness.

142 – The Browns' defense limited the Jets to just 142 net passing yards — a season-best. After allowing 70 passing yards on the first drive, Cleveland's secondary held strong for the rest of the game. With the performance, the Browns increased their streak to 50 consecutive games without allowing a 300-yard passer — the longest active streak in the league.

198 – On offense, the Browns struggled to consistently move the ball, finishing the game with a season-low 198 net yards. Watson threw for 155 yards on 33 attempts while the Browns ran for 96 net rushing yards on 24 attempts as a team. Watson was sacked eight times in the game for a loss of 53 yards.
