The Browns announced the game statuses for 12 players ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Bears.
"A lot of what we do as coaches is work through contingency plans and see who's available," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "There's always uncertainty going into football games of who may or may not play. So, we just work through those things."
RT Jack Conklin, DT Adin Huntington, TE David Njoku, RB Dylan Sampson, RG Wyatt Teller, CB Denzel Ward and QB Deshaun Watson are out.
Conklin continues to work through the concussion protocol and did not participate throughout the week. Njoku sustained a knee injury in the second quarter Week 15 against the Titans and did not return to the game. He did not participate in practice throughout the week.
Ward suffered the calf injury in the fourth quarter of Week 14 and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. Ward did not participate in practice throughout the week.
"With every injury you have to treat the injury and, unfortunately, wasn't able to make it this week," Stefanski said of Ward.

LG Joel Bitonio, WR Malachi Corley DT Mason Graham, WR Cedric Tillman and G Zak Zinter are questionable.
Bitonio has been working through both knee and back injuries and did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. He returned in a limited capacity on Friday.
"Obviously continuity along the offensive line is ideal, not always realistic," Stefanski said. "But if you can have your veterans out there when you're dealing with some of the injuries, that would be beneficial. But, like we've said before, you've got to get everybody ready to play."
Corley, who was ruled out of Week 14 after sustaining the concussion in the second quarter, returned to practice on Wednesday and was a limited participant in practice throughout the week.
Graham did not participate on Wednesday and Thursday with the rib injury but was a limited participant on Friday.
Tillman, who is dealing with concussion and rib injuries, did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but returned as a limited participant on Friday.
Zinter was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday with a back injury and did not participate in practice on Thursday and Friday.
