Welcome to week five of High School Game of the Week!
Presented by Ohio CAT and in association with ForeverLawn and Howard Hanna, the High School Game of the Week is between the Maple Heights Mustangs and the Willoughby South Rebels.
The winning team for each Game of the Week during the 10 weeks of the high school football season will receive $3,000 for their program.

- The matchup between Maple Heights and Willoughby South is a non-conference game.
Willoughby South
- Willoughby South is Division II and is currently in the Western Reserve Conference for the 2025-26 season. They will be joining the Chagrin Valley Conference in Fall 2026.
- Willoughby South is 2-2, coming into this Friday's game after a win against Firestone.
- The Rebels are undefeated at home, winning both of their home games this season.
- Matt Duffy has been Willoughby South's coach for 17 years, and is the school's all-time leading football coach in wins.
Maple Heights
- Maple Heights is a Division III school and is currently Independent after their previous conference, the Lake Erie Conference, dissolved in May 2025.
- Maple Heights is 3-1 after losing to Boardman in Week 4.
- Maple Heights is undefeated on the road, winning all three road games so far this season.
- Maple Heights' head coach, Shaq Washington, won the OSHAA's 2018 Division II All-Ohio Coach of the Year.
